Lucky Seven The Holiday Toast is a limited-edition Kentucky-sourced straight bourbon from Lucky Seven Spirits. Bottled at 115 proof, it undergoes a double-oaking process, first aging in new charred oak barrels and then finishing in new toasted oak barrels.
Very impressive! Lucky Seven The Holiday Toast started off with a classic bourbon nose and really came to life on the palate and finish. There is a very enjoyable “holiday” profile of flavors, making this bottle appropriately named and the “quintessential” holiday dram.
While Lucky Seven Spirits' releases typically offer an age statement, that is not the case here. Instead, the focus is on the rebarreling and "Holiday" theme, which results in the sip offering a robust flavor profile reminiscent of the holidays - cinnamon, nutmeg, pine, and gingerbread. It's both fun and delicious at the same time.
