  • This is a great RED expression from Longrow. The red wine character in the Pinot Noir is well integrated, not overbearing and there’s plenty of Longrow character throughout. Great combo of jammy wine, big industrial smoke and pleasant malt.

  • Nose:

Big, rich and peaty on the nose. The peat drives the train. Malt and caramel follow with a wisp of pleasant red wine following in the rear.

  • Taste:

Sweet up front, plenty of honey and cream, sweet malt and caramel. The red wine pops on the palate with jammy cherry, blackberry and a hint of apple and currant rising with time. Smoke is well behaved, present throughout but not dominating. Light oak, dry back palate.

  • Finish:

Long finish, oaky and dry with a great deal of minerality and smoke showing through. Pinot Noir pops with big, jammy fruit showing well.

  • Overall:

This is a great RED expression from Longrow. The red wine character in the Pinot Noir is well integrated, not overbearing and there’s plenty of Longrow character throughout. Great combo of jammy wine, big industrial smoke and pleasant malt.
