  • Nose:

Sweet, malt forward and loaded with delectable sweetness. A touch of minerality, light smoke, pepper and cedar.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, syrupy, jammy and loaded with character. Honey, maple, a touch of grape sweetness and caramel candies. Butterscotch, minreality, a light smoke element and tons of ash and sweet Sauternes. Lovely balance, plenty of oak without being wild. Goodness.

  • Finish:

Long finish, sweet cream, a touch of caramel and honey, lovely pepper. Salinity, light oakiness, toffee.

  • Overall:

    Delightful.

  • Score:

    88
