Lokita Tequila Blanco is produced at Agave Azul San Jose in Jalisco, Mexico, using 100% blue weber agave. The agave is cooked in stone or brick ovens and extracted with a roller mill. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks without fibers and the tequila is double distilled in copper pot stills. It is bottled unaged at 40% ABV.
Identifiably agave on the nose with inviting vegetal and floral notes appearing. The palate delivers pineapple, crisp green apple and umami hints supported by a backbone of black pepper.
