Loch & Union Distilling American Dry Gin is produced in Napa, California, using a neutral grain base spirit and 12 botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica root, damiana leaf, chamomile and orris root. It is distilled in custom-built German stills and bottled at 47.2% ABV.
A hint of salinity makes the mouth water, accompanied by warming hints of coriander, cumin, cayenne and black pepper. There's a lingering, rounded richness finishing with a dark chocolate streak that evokes mole.
