Inchmurrin is produced at Loch Lomond Distillery using its straight neck pot stills, which give a distinctly fruity character to the whiskies, the brand shares. It's aged in three types of American oak casks (bourbon, refill and re-charred) and bottled at 46% ABV. The whisky sells for around $53.
It’s a delicious alternative to a lot of malt whiskies that are a little unobtainable – think about Rosebank and St. Magdalene, it has that sort of flavor profile, but is also higher in ABV and has a big, interesting finish for something of only twelve years old.
