Loca Loka Tequila Blanco is a 100% additive-free tequila made from highland agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico and bottled at 80 proof with NOM 1588. The tequila is made from autoclave-cooked highland agave, fermented with a hybrid white wine yeast and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills. It retails for around $46.

  • The midpalate is full of hints of tropical fruits and minerality, alongside vanilla bean and almond cake. At 80 proof, the warmth is short-lived, and the texture is light, a touch too much so. The finish is pleasurable, with consistent flavors lingering and bringing in candied citrus, sweet cream, and salinity.
