Licor 43 Original is a liqueur produced in Cartagena, Spain, with a 31% ABV. Made from a secret family recipe of 43 ingredients, including Mediterranean citrus fruits and botanicals, it retails for around $29.99.
It’s enjoyable on its own, but I can see why this works so well in coffee. And plenty of other cocktails could surely benefit from a splash, as well.
It's much softer on the palate, however, with an extremely creamy texture and notes of brown sugar, a medley of spices, and sweet vanilla. This would be especially good mixed with brandy or poured over ice to be savored.
