Liathmor Blended Scotch Whisky is produced through a collaboration between Familia Torres and La Martiniquaise-Bardinet. The blend features 20% Speyside malt, 40% three-year-old grain for freshness and 40% five-year-old grain for added structure. It is bottled at 40% ABV and typically retails for €12.90.
The name draws from an 1891 Scottish legend in which an explorer reported seeing the “Greyman,” or Liathmor in Gaelic, atop Ben Macdui.
Baked apple aromas with cinnamon spice and delicate croissant notes. A light texture reveals a harmonious blend of bittersweet toffee and subtle spiciness, leading to a medium finish of honey oats and a swirl of apple sauce.
