  • Delectable and enticing. Powerful but not too brash, loaded with flavors I love. Really good stuff. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't know about these folks in Chicago until now, but when Covid lifts, it's road trip time for me.

  • Although I wasn’t crazy about it in the G&T, I found that it worked when you really got down to mixing. I’d love to get a bit more juniper out of it, but the loud fennel and quite juniper works better than I might have guessed.

  • Nose:

Sweet and enticing, oh my. Crisp and effervescent, great grain here. Orange peel, rising bread, strong pepper and a really well integrated juniper note.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, strong and bold, lots of juniper, white pepper, lime. Bold, powerful, some heat.

  • Finish:

Long, sweet cream, pepper, lemon peel and rich cardamom. There's a lovely almond note that carries, really elegant finish on this one.

  • Overall:

Delectable and enticing. Powerful but not too brash, loaded with flavors I love. Really good stuff. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't know about these folks in Chicago until now, but when Covid lifts, it's road trip time for me.
