Produced in Jerez, Spain, Lepanto 12 Year Old Solera Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez is made by González Byass from Palomino grapes. The must is double-distilled in Charentais pot stills at the Los Arcos cellar, with only the heart of the distillate, or holanda, retained. It matures nine years in American oak barrels that held Tio Pepe, then three years in barrels that aged 30-year-old Oloroso Matusalem, for a total of 12 years in the solera system.
