  • Lee Spirits Co. Dry Gin is a gin with a plenty of juniper and citrus, set apart with a distinctive cardamom note that tends to dominate the botanical blend without overwhelming, especially in cocktails.

  • Overall quite powerful from the nose to a long finish. Use this in a Gibson and don’t forget the pickled onion.

  • Really big fan of this particular expression, and I think it’s a great gin. The complexity of the nose is impressive and the palate and finish can keep it going. It’s not hard to score this bottle.

  • Nose:

Sweet, rich, and effervescent on the nose. Fresh baked bread, some sourdough, juniper, pepper and honey. Faint creamy texture on the nose, really enticing.

  • Taste:

Medium mouth feel, coats the tongue nicely, drips nicely along the jawline. Sweet cream, rich juniper, pepper and citrus accompany really nice carriage of the ethanol. Not too sweet, not too juniper forward, lovely character. Drinks far richer than 90% ABV.

  • Finish:

Long finish. A bit more pepper here, taking the finish to a more savory, peppery ending, but I think that complements the sweetness of the nose nicely. Juniper, pepper and orange peel play this bottle out nicely.

  • Overall:

Really big fan of this particular expression, and I think it’s a great gin. The complexity of the nose is impressive and the palate and finish can keep it going. It’s not hard to score this bottle.
