Laphroaig Càirdeas Cask Favourites is a 10-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky released in 2024 for the Fèis Ìle festival, celebrating 30 years of the Friends of Laphroaig program. It was crafted by Master Blender Calum Fraser as a tribute to two past Càirdeas releases, maturing the spirit in over-charred first- and second-fill ex-bourbon barrels and quarter casks before finishing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 52.4% ABV and retails for around $109–$115.

  • On the palate, the script is flipped. Those hinted-at fruit notes are immediately dominant and, surprisingly, quite sweet, perking up the palate right away with plump raisins, figs, and some cherry notes.
