La Caza was brought to market earlier this year by Austin-based entrepreneur Drake Screws. Produced using estate grown agave and distilled to the sounds of Mozart (a special touch to all Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados releases), the brand's Reposado is aged for four months in ex-bourbon barrels. We found La Caza Blanco to be light and very vanilla forward when we tried it a few months back — let's see what a little cask age adds to the equation.

Overall, this is a really interesting reposado. I don’t know where all this cocoa is coming from, but it’s a bit outside my wheelhouse.
