Fresh and funky, clean and savory, sweet and inviting. Lemongrass, honey, a light sweetness and plenty of citrus zest.
Moderate mouthfeel, grassy and zesty, full of flavor. Loads of straw, honey, lemongrass, slate and some lactic funkiness paired with cedar and a touch of pepper.
Finish is fleeting but I often find that pleasant with agricole, an intense spirit type that can overwhelm if it sticks in your olfactory. Straw, honey, lime zest, pepper and a whiff of garlic see this off.
It’s savory for an agricole but it’s a delight and the folks at Kuleana certainly are no strangers to great flavor.
