Koloa Hawaiian Kaua'i Coffee Rum, a collaboration with Kauaʻi Coffee Company, is distilled, blended and bottled by Kōloa Rum Company in Kalaheo, Kauaʻi. Made from cane sugar in a vintage 1,210-gallon copper pot still.

Coffee-heavy on the nose, to no surprise. Coffee grounds are joined by sweet cane simple syrup.
Syrupy viscosity. Rum comes through here with some pleasant coconut coconut notes, plus plenty of sweet vanilla and roasty coffee and cacao.
The finish is medium in length and quite sweet. Big chocolate syrup vibes plus espresso bean and a bit of rum funk.
Pleasant, sweet and coffee-laden, Koloa's coffee rum liqueur is delicious but has a bit of a youthful bite. It's a fun bottle to have on your shelf and would make a mean espresso martini.
