Unlike 2025's release, this one is bottled at cask strength, aligning with the 2025 expansion of Knob Creek's single-barrel program to include cask-strength options. With proofs ranging from 112.2 to 121.6, this bourbon retails for $69.99 per 750-milliliter bottle. Our sample bottle clocked in at 116.4 proof. It was barreled on Sept. 23, 2015, and bottled on Oct. 7, 2025, making it just over 10 years old.

  • Nose:

Powerful, delicious nose filled with Beam’s classic nutty profile, which is joined by some rich desserty notes and subtle spice. Peanut brittle, caramel, cherry cola, vanilla, frosting, sassafras.

  • Taste:

The palate is rich and lovely, with more peanut brittle joined by fudge, espresso, caramel, ash, luxardo cherry, a sprig of mint and a light minerality.

  • Finish:

The finish opens with a big dark chocolate covered almonds note, which is quickly followed by marshmallow fluff, coffee grounds, ash, then moves into a fruitier profile of red grape, raisin and cherry.

  • Overall:

A lovely Knob Creek pick! It takes that classic nutty Beam profile and layers some spice and dark fruit on top of it. Well done, Eli.
