  • Honestly, the nose on this is beyond decadent. That’s the best part. It doesn’t go downhill insomuch as that the palate and finish are terrible, but they’re fairly lifeless and don’y carry the same wondrous complexity of the nose.

  • Nose:

    Fudge, cocoa, some fig, honey, pear. Rich raisin bread, vanilla bean and custard. Pretty darn rich.

  • Taste:

    Thin on the palate. Some cocoa, some honey, a bit of currant and fig. Stewed fruits. Some heat on the back palate.

  • Finish:

    Short finish. Some sherry character here but it’s not really that captivating. Wisps away quickly.

  • Overall:
