  • Overall, this isn’t bad. If this isn’t the definition of inexpensive and inoffensive, I don’t know what is. Perfect daily sipper, as long as you’re not looking for notable complexity.

  • The palate is straightforward: vanilla, bubble gum, rose petal, orange blossom, and crème brûlée, with a short, light finish of toasted almonds and chalky vanilla fudge.

  • The relatively hot palate echoes that fruitiness, plus a sprinkle of cinnamon. Stone fruit and honey smooth out the spiced finish.

  • Nose:

Sweet, albeit light on the nose. Faint char, some honey, some lemon, a touch of pepper.

  • Taste:

Thin on the palate but pleasant and devoid of ethanol burn. Apples, honey, some nougat, almonds. Faint bit of smoke, but extremely faint. Little ash, some citrus zest. Fresh baked bread.

  • Finish:

Short finish, not a lot going on. Sweet, fruity, faintly smoky on departure. Honey and toffee remain.

  • Overall:

Overall, this isn’t bad. If this isn’t the definition of inexpensive and inoffensive, I don’t know what is. Perfect daily sipper, as long as you’re not looking for notable complexity.
