This is a bottling of Kilchoman that is aged in a sherry cask for 5 years, and bottled at cask strength. As is Kilchomans way, this is bottled without filtering or coloring.

House Review
Nose:
Raw abrasive, fungal vegetal peat. Really bold and brash. Light stewed fruits. Pepper, honey, rotting things.
Taste:
Medium mouth feel. Some ethanol. Sweet jammy fruits. Vanilla, honey. Light pepper. Then the ashy pepper peat swoops in. Rich, but potent, fungal peat. Less ash, more iodine.
