Kentucky Nectar Batch 3 is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey finished in a honey cask, released in May 2025. Produced at an undisclosed distillery, it features a mash bill of 64% corn, 24% wheat and 12% malted barley, with no age statement. It is bottled at 114.5 proof (57.25% ABV) and carries a suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750 ml.

Per the brand, the nose leans lighter and more floral, with notes of wildflowers, orange marmalade, icing, cherry cola and barrel char. The palate is midweight with a chewy, oily texture, showing cherry cola, honey, molasses, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. The finish is described as long and drying, with cola and light tobacco notes.

  • Honey promptly registers on the palate, but in the fashion of floral honeysuckle. As the initial honeysuckle dissipates, sour cream cake donuts encounter brown sugar and cinnamon. The honey leads to a thick mouthfeel, even though the palate isn’t quite as sweeet as the nose and mouthfeel would suggest.
