Kasama Rum was founded by Alexandra Dorda, daughter of Tad Dorda, co-founder of Belvedere and Chopin Vodka. It's distilled from freshly pressed noble cane juice at an undisclosed distillery in the Philippines and aged for seven years in ex-bourbon barrels before being blended and bottled at Dorda's family's distillery in Poland.
The experience is actually manageable in small doses, but after half a glass it quickly becomes too much to handle. I wouldn’t dream of drinking this straight on the regular.
