  • This is really something. It’s rich and powerful, complex and full of flavor. It’s a tad hot, but if you can look past the heat, you’ve got a winner on your hands.

  • Nose:

Heavy baking spice, maple, sweet oak, gobs of toffee and salted caramel and a prickle of ethanol. There’s a lot going on.

  • Taste:

Rich on the palate, full of maple, baking spice and honey. The ethanol is a ripper — this is hot and punchy but rich and full of flavor. Tobacco, sweet cream, apple butter.

  • Finish:

After a good long rest, the ethanol cools down. The finish is long, packed with savory sweetness, brown butter, toffee, honey, salted caramel and one last fiery send off.

  • Overall:

This is really something. It’s rich and powerful, complex and full of flavor. It’s a tad hot, but if you can look past the heat, you’ve got a winner on your hands.
