Juliette is a 36-proof peach liqueur crafted from heirloom pêche de vigne harvested in late July in France's Rhône Valley. These peaches are macerated whole in eau-de-vie for up to five weeks, then blended with sugar and 3-year-old French brandy. The mixture is decanted and double-filtered before bottling.

  • Fruity without being too sweet and just all sorts of fresh peach and white flowers.

  • Nose:

The nose is syrupy and fragrant with oodles of luscious, juicy peach flesh and vanilla. I’d like to bottle this scent up and wear it like perfume.

  • Taste:

The palate is less fresh peach and more peach ring. Soft pear, lychee and dried apricot can be detected as well. It’s creamy, candied and oozing a fruity gummy bear sweetness I think would jazz up a dry sparkling wine.

  • Finish:

Offering a sugary, medium-length finish, Juliette concludes with notes of peach skin, warm honey, elderflower, raisin and heather.

  • Overall:

This is a nice peach liqueur that I’d certainly recommend if you’re looking for one! While it’s not incredibly complex, and I would have liked to taste more of its brandy or eau-de-vie components, it still delivers plenty of stone fruit goodness. The slim, art nouveau-like bottle is gorgeous, too, and stands out on a shelf with its shiny orb stopper.
