Bilberry Black Hearts Gin is distilled twice from 100% organic Michigan wheat and includes nine botanicals: juniper, bilberry, lemon, bitter orange, cinnamon, coriander, anise, angelica and orris root. Bottled at 90 proof, it is named after the bilberry, also known as "Black Heart."
What surprised me was that despite the fruit and berry notes, Bilberry Black Hearts Gin works in a range of cocktails, and can easily work as a contemporary twist on a number of classic cocktails.
