Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Reposado is an organic agave tequila aged in three types of wood: heavily toasted American oak, and lightly toasted American and French oaks.
The palate offers fruit salad in sugary syrup, grilled pineapples, and mint. Towards the back, the wood spice and tannins of the French oak make their presence felt, leading into a vegetal and grassy finish.
Grassy, green, minerally aromas and flavors of granite, wet clay, pear, green tea, and fruit loops with a silky, soft, dryish light body and a peppery, engaging, medium-length finish.
