  • I get it’s supposed to be cheap, but even here I wouldn’t want to use this in a cocktail beyond mixing with coke.

  • Long finish of watery caramel, corn, citrus and a faint bit of oak.

  • Palate is weak and light with caramel, sweeteners, and more vanilla. Finish is extremely quick.

  • The finish finds some minor secondary tones — nuts and even a hint of coffee — nothing outrageously complex, but enough to give the whiskey a bit of nuance until the corn chip notes make their inevitable return. To be sure, this is a bourbon that’s all about the price point, but, hey, what a price point.

  • Nose:

Corn. Syrup. The tiniest hint of vanilla and caramel. A lot of hint of hangovers of days past.

  • Finish:

Short, thin, astringent, and entirely underwhelming.

  • Overall:

Its not great, but its not the worst thing I've tasted. Could be worse, I suppose.

  • Score:
