  • As the palate develops, the whiskey runs to honey, then red raspberry, before leading to a surprising chocolate note that seemingly comes out of nowhere. The finish has more of a bite than I’d expected, slightly vegetal at times but decidedly Irish. Good stuff.

  • The taste has an excellent balance as spicy notes of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon blend with honey, vanilla, and a touch of oak for a rich mouthfeel. The finish is long, aromatic, and spicy with a good underlying sweetness. Excellent!

  • Jameson Blender’s Dog is pretty good. I like the Cooper’s Croze more, but still worth a taste.
