Jackson Purchase Distillery, founded in 2021 in Hickman, Kentucky, operates under Master Distiller Craig Beam and Assistant Master Distiller Terry Ballard. The distillery uses local grain and calcium-rich water from underground aquifers in Fulton County and produced over 100,000 barrels annually for other brands before launching its own bourbon. Its first release, Jackson Purchase Bourbon Batch No. 1, has a mash bill of 70% corn, 20% rye and 10% malted barley, aged four years in new white oak barrels with a #4 char and bottled at 58.9% ABV.
