The Hearach Single Malt Whisky is crafted with 100% Scottish Concerto barley and Outer Hebridean water from the Abhainn Cnoc a’ Charrain. Lightly peated at 12-15 ppm using hand-cut peat from South Harris, it undergoes a fermentation process lasting up to five days and matures for at least five years in Fino butts, first-fill bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
Delicious albeit with a bit of youthful aggression and grain forward; adore the honey almond notes, light smoke, and delicate mineral edge to the fruits.
