Islamorada Hibiscus Gin is distilled in the Florida Keys with a gluten-free, corn-based spirit. It features botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, sweet orange peel, vanilla, hibiscus and cardamom. The distillation process involves using a botanical basket to extract essential flavors and post maceration with butterfly pea flower, giving the gin a purple color that changes to lavender or pale pink with citrus or tonic water. The gin is bottled at 80 proof and it retails for about $30.
