The taste starts off light and fruity at first, followed by a burst of spices and charred oak along with dried fruits, brown sugar, and honey. The finish is long with a soft oakiness, gentle spices, and touches of brown sugar and honey.
This is a finely balanced, approachable, and sweet bourbon. I think this would be a good gateway bottle to transition from introductory bourbons to a more sophisticated level.
