Hinomaru Whisky The 1st Edition is made by Kiuchi Brewery at the Yasato Distillery in Ibaraki Prefecture, marking the company's 200th anniversary. The whisky combines malt and grain spirits distilled at both the Nukada and Yasato distilleries using locally grown barley, wheat and rice from Ibaraki. It is bottled at 48% ABV and originally priced at 5,500 yen (approximately $35-40).
