House Review
  • Nose:

    The nose is sweet and distinctly buttery. Huge butterscotch note, plus buttered popcorn, praline, buttercream frosting. It's a very distinctive and lovely nose.

  • Taste:

    Quite hot. Moderate mouthfeel. Sweet, delicious palate. Pecan pie, browned butter, chestnut, cinnamon, white pepper.

  • Finish:

    The peat has been subtle up to this point, but now it roars forth in earnest, coming through with a vegetal quality. Joined by vanilla and grape.

  • Overall:

    I really like this. It's a sweet, buttery, well-structured and downright delicious pour. The peat is integrated very smoothly, although it outweighs other flavors on the finish.
