  • This tastes on the young side, but it has loads of potential and is pretty darn enjoyable as is.

  • On the palate, a smooth texture with a fair amount of depth, vanilla, and tart spice. The finish offers more vanilla, along with strawberries and raspberries.

  • Nose:

Very distinctive nose. Quite nutty with almonds and pecans. Praline, pecan pie, a big brioche note and espresso.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel. Again it's again very distinctive and very nutty, but some youthful notes hold it back. A touch of youthful heat is here, joined by big walnut and almond character with a cool tiramisu note that I’m digging. Big brioche note again.

  • Finish:

Short to medium finish concludes with charcoal, praline and faint nuttiness.

  • Overall:

This tastes on the young side, but it has loads of potential and is pretty darn enjoyable as is.

  • Score:

    80
