One of three Hardin's Creek Warehouse Series releases from the James B. Beam Distilling Company in October 2025, this bourbon comes from Warehouse W, a five-story warehouse. The other bourbons in the series — The Mushroom and The Owl — were aged in one- and nine-story warehouses. All three bourbons are identical in mashbill, proof (110), age (11 years) and suggested retail price ($149.99).

Gorgeous nose filled with plum, blackberry, sassafras, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and French toast topped with melting butter.
Quite oaky and very pleasant on the palate, with a great mouthfeel and a decadent profile that leads with butterscotch pudding and buttercream frosting. It reminds me of a nice, well-aged Knob Creek product. Oak mingles with black cherry, tannin, a touch of minerality, a bit of spice and tobacco.
That French toast note from the nose returns on the finish, joined by barrel char, tannin, cookie dough, cherry and banana cream pie. Light minerality remains.
A decadent, delicious bourbon. This is great stuff.
