  • Nose:

    Bold spice, sweetness, pear, cinnamon and a hint of char and cola on the nose.

  • Taste:

    Pleasant on the palate with a moderate mouthfeel. A touch of char and parchment, light sapling and oak. A hair young but pleasant overall, full of caramel sweetness and a hint of ginger beer.

  • Finish:

    Short to moderate finish, spicy and loaded with apple butter, toffee and cream.

  • Overall:

    I like this. While there are signs of youth, it’s trucking along quite nicely.
