Hard Truth Double Oaked Sweet Mash Rye is a made from a mashbill of 94% rye and 6% malted barley. Aged more than two years before being blended and finished for over three additional years in new charred American oak barrels, it is bottled at cask strength.
Double Oaked offers medium-thick viscosity. Heading toward the finish, burnt brown sugar meets black licorice. Fruit shows up for the first time as crisp pear mingles with nutmeg.
