Hand Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey made with a mashbill of 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley. Aged in American white oak barrels with a level 4 char, it rests at 105 proof.
I won’t say that this is a complicated whiskey (nor an inexpensive one), but it is surprisingly drinkable and approachable, inviting repeated investigation — if you can find the bottle, amirite?
