This rum is a blend of high-proof Jamaican pot still rum from the Worthy Park Estate (40%) and high-proof aged Guyanese rum (60%). They are blended and brought to 114 proof at the Five & 20 Distillery in Westfield, New York.

  • The scorching weight of ethanol is never far from reach, though, which ultimately thins out the finish rather than amplifying it. It’s a little off-target, a rum that feels like it would benefit from more age to add complexity.
