H.K. Young Bourbon Co. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Toasted Barrel Blend is made from bourbon distilled at Bardstown Bourbon Company using a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley. The whiskey is finished in three different types of toasted oak barrels from Independent Stave Company, each with distinct toast profiles including heavy toast, custom spice toast and medium toast barrels. It's bottled at 114.4 proof (57.2% ABV) and sells for around $80.

  • Resinous notes and fresh oak meet delicate florals on the nose. The palate enjoys a dry, nutty profile with juicy sultana, fig, and spice flavours which continue through to the finish.
