A single-barrel release distilled and bottled by Green River in Owensboro, Kentucky, this bourbon's ABV will vary by the barrel you taste. Green River is a brand with roots dating back to 1885, and it was revived in 2022. Since then, Green River has been absolutely killing it with great whiskey at super competitive prices.

Bold and full of spice. Toffee, honey, pepper, tobacco and some clove. Punchy and rich.
Moderate mouthfeel, full of brown sugar, maple, some cola, some cherry and toffee. The proof is well integrated, tons of character here. Lovely and rich.
Long finish. There’s a ton going on here — a bit drying with more oak and pepper but the balance is enjoyable and the complexity is off the charts compared to the standard releases.
This is great stuff, and I love to see Green River continuing to excel in releasing really delicious whiskey. That big balance of sweet and spicy makes this release a winner.
