The first rye introduced to Green River Distilling Co.'s portfolio since the brand's reestablishment in 2022, this whiskey is distilled by Green River in Owensboro Kentucky and is a blend of 4-to-6-year-old barrels. Green River's bourbon releases have been excellent, so I'm excited for this one.

House Review
Nose:
Sweet and bright on the nose with tons of rye spice, apples, cinnamon, brown sugar and a dab of honey.
Taste:
Moderate palate. This is super easy drinking at 95 proof and has a pleasant viscosity. Toffee, honey, rye spice, more apple and a pop of pleasant acidity, sweet and balanced with spice and the fruit character.
Finish:
Long finish that's really pleasant again, combining rye spice, orange peel, apple butter, honey and a hint of clove.
Overall:
Killer release from Green River that frankly crushes it. I'm wowed by how much is going on in this rye.
