Grant Battle of Fort Henry & Fort Donelson Wheat Whisky is produced five miles from Ulysses S. Grant’s birthplace. It marks the first release in a seven-bottle series commemorating Grant’s Civil War victories, beginning with Fort Henry and Fort Donelson. The whiskey follows a harvest-based distilling approach originally used by the New Richmond Distilleries, founded in 1835, with each batch made from the season’s available grain.
