  • It’s unbelievable how incredible Scapa can be when it gets out of its own way, and thanks to G&M we’re able to taste. This is easily one of the best Scapa whiskies I’ve ever had, and it’s delightful.

  • Nose:

Buttery, sweet nose full of tropical fruit, honey, a hint of salinity and gorgeous honey.

  • Taste:

Moderate to rich mouthfeel with a faint prickle of ethanol. Tropical fruit pops with honey, vanilla, a touch of pepper and some faint minerality. Pear develops on the back palate in a striking way.

  • Finish:

Long finish, notably rich and so bright and fruit forward with honey, almond, graham cracker, lemon curd and a hint of brown sugar.

  • Overall:

It’s unbelievable how incredible Scapa can be when it gets out of its own way, and thanks to G&M we’re able to taste. This is easily one of the best Scapa whiskies I’ve ever had, and it’s delightful.
