Godawan Series 02 Indian Single Malt is distilled in copper pot stills using locally sourced six-row barley and undergoes a 55 to 65-hour fermentation cycle. Aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in botanical-conditioned casks, it matures in Rajasthan’s high temperatures, leading to a higher angel’s share.
I do prefer Godawan 01 Rich And Rounded, but this is as good for different reasons. The bourbon/coffee notes of 01 are replaced with these highland single malt notes of fudge and toffee.
Zesty and fruity to sip, with rasp- berry, watermelon, cherry, Love Hearts candies fizzing with spice, backed by apple, pear, tart yellow plum, and red gooseberry.
