Bold and sweet, lots of icing, honey, late harvest wine, pears and plums. On the sweet side, though there's some light white pepper, a touch of citrus and a nice honey component.
Medium mouthfeel, ethanol is placed nicely. Toffee, sweet cream, honey, and pear. Light bitterness, a touch of spice like clove and pepper.
Long finish, sweet first with some oak, toffee, clove and peppery spice to balance the sweetness. Surprising dryness.
Enjoyable and unique, the bitter, dry character on the palate and finish is surprising and detracts from the overall experience a bit.
