Glenmorangie 1990 is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2016. Matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, it rests at 43% ABV in a 700ml format.
While the whisky is a bit, ok a lot, out of my price range, it’s an exceptional level of quality for those who can afford it. And yes, if I had the money to do it I’d happily buy a bottle of the Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1990. It’s a true celebration of the distillery.
Very smooth on the palate, with malt, vanilla, more honey, and milk chocolate orange. Attractive soft oak notes and gentle herbal spice in the medium to long finish.
