This is an independent bottling of spirit distilled at Glenlossie, bottled by SMWS after 11 years of aging in an ex-bourbon barrel. This bottling, "Fully Loaded Lemon" is bottled at cask strength, with no coloring or filtering. Let's see how it is.
Hot but some complexity here. I like it. It's weird, in that I typically don't enjoy being beat up but this has some nice stuff going on so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

Nose:
Bright and sweet. Cream cheese frosting, vanilla bean, sugar and honey.
Taste:
Sweet confectioners sugar, light minerality, vanilla bean and a good deal of ethanol. Medium mouth feel.
Finish:
Long but hot. Lots of vanilla, light plastic, some toffee and fresh baked cake.
Overall:
Hot but some complexity here. I like it. It's weird, in that I typically don't enjoy being beat up but this has some nice stuff going on so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
