  • Overall this is nice. A little bump in proof could do good things for it, but it's a very capable dram that delivers when you're in the mood for rich, syrupy sherry without much ethanol to kick you in the teeth.

  • Nose:

Pungent sweetness - honey, figs, cherries, blackberry, currant and pipe tobacco.

  • Taste:

Thin mouth feel, but rich in flavor. Toffee, blackberry, black cherry, cocoa and tobacco. Sweet and musty. No heat.

  • Finish:

Long, loaded with old sherry notes. Musty tobacco, faint oak, figs, stewed fruits, cherries, blackberry and a sweet port note.
